Hello! My name is Colleen and my dog's name is Bud (pictured above). My love of dogs goes back to when I was seven when I met my first dog, a miniature schnauzer named Lady. She was, to say the least, my best friend for 17 years. My second dog, Cocoa, pictured on the home page was the inspiration for this business. He passed away a few years ago. Bud came into my life recently and he's a great friend and business partner. He often accompanies me on walks with clients.

I was born in Portland and have lived here my whole life except for a few years in Eugene to get a college degree. I have two bachelor degrees, one in Journalism from the University of Oregon and one in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Portland. I initially aspired to be an editorial designer for a major newspaper, but it was not for me. During college I volunteered at Multnomah County Animal Shelter and worked at a doggie daycare. It was then that I realized I wanted to spend every day with my dog friends.

Hi! I’m Marisa. I met Colleen at the doggie daycare where we both worked. I helped establish the business and worked with Anubis for a few years before heading off to Corvallis to study wildlife medicine and biology at Oregon State University. I've always had a love for animals, and have volunteered at dog and cat shelters as well as wildlife rehabilitation centers. Since graduating, I’ve returned to Portland and am enjoying spending time with the dogs again! I also have my own dog at home, an adorable pit-chow-ridgeback named Tsuki (pictured to the left).
